Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 5, 2026
Desolate Ranch, LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Blitz Games mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, certain information is collected automatically:
- Device Information: We collect device type, operating system version, and a randomly generated anonymous identifier used to manage your purchases. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number through the App.
- Usage Data: We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage data, including which screens you view, which games you play, session duration, and general interaction patterns. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
- Crash Data: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information when the App encounters errors. This includes device state, stack traces, and the version of the App. This data helps us fix bugs and improve stability.
- Advertising Data: If you are a free user (not subscribed to Blitz Pass), we display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) and use it to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your preferences. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy for more details.
1.2 Purchase Information
When you make an in-app purchase (such as buying lives, hints, or a Blitz Pass subscription), the transaction is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect or store your payment information (credit card numbers, bank details, etc.). We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage purchase validation and subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history from Apple or Google. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
1.3 Locally Stored Data
The App stores game data locally on your device, including high scores, remaining lives, hints, coins, and game preferences. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third party.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the App's functionality
- To process and validate your in-app purchases and subscription status
- To display advertisements to free users
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the App's performance and features
- To identify and fix crashes and technical issues
- To comply with legal obligations
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party service providers who assist in operating the App:
- RevenueCat: Purchase validation and subscription management
- Google Firebase: Analytics and crash reporting
- Google AdMob: Advertising (free users only; Blitz Pass subscribers see no ads)
- Apple / Google: Payment processing for in-app purchases
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing their use of data. We encourage you to review them.
4. Data Retention
Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 14 months by Firebase. Crash data is retained for up to 90 days. Purchase records are maintained by RevenueCat for as long as your account exists. Locally stored game data persists on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data.
5. Your Rights and Choices
- Opt out of personalized ads: You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings. On iOS, go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking. On Android, go to Settings > Google > Ads.
- Delete local data: You can delete all locally stored game data by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data in your device settings.
- Request data deletion: You may request deletion of data associated with your anonymous identifier by contacting us at the email below. We will process your request within 30 days.
- Opt out of analytics: Currently, the App does not offer an in-app toggle for analytics. You can limit data collection by restricting the App's network access in your device settings.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information collected through the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
